Chûn Quoit

Dolmen / Quoit / Cromlech

Chûn Quoit (Dolmen / Quoit / Cromlech) by thesweetcheat The circular nature of the surrounding cairn footprint makes it clear that this was a very different type of monument to some of the other Penwith quoits.

DB not especially. Lanyon had a long mound and probably Zennor. Mulfra is too far gone to be certain but the smaller chambered Bosprennis may have been round. The big stone on the left is likely to have been part of a passage. Much disagrelement abounds over whether the chambers were completely covered or partly exposed.

Spencer - job done :)
