Narrator Brook Head cairn (Cairn(s)) by GLADMAN This substantial cairn serves as an excellent prelude to the fine pair crowning Eylesbarrow... should you decide to continue. If so, take a line heading for the highest point looking across the left hand extremity of the deep gulley. The cairns can not be seen from the east. Incidentally I'm not aware of the origin of the foreground stone?
