Corn Du

Corn Du (Cairn(s)) by GLADMAN With an intact cist still safely residing within a reconstructed cairn [extreme top left of the decapitated summit ridge] Corn Du is one of Wales' most memorable prehistoric sites. The viewpoint is the northern flank of Fan Fawr, sentinel peak of Fforest Fawr yet - oddly - cairnless.

Did you go to see the recumbent on the other flank? I couldn't really make up my mind if it's natural or not, be good to know what you think. thesweetcheat Posted by thesweetcheat

The block on Cefn Yr Henriw? Thought it was another glacial erratic, but after reading Coflein not so sure now. GLADMAN Posted by GLADMAN
