Visited 28.7.15 Directions: In the Rhinns of Galloway, 2 miles south west of Sandhead, on the A716. There is room to park outside the gate which gives access to the pretty path through the trees to the church. This is an Historic Scotland site which holds a fine selection of early christian grave stones. The church is not open but one end of it has been changed into a huge glass display case! These are where the stones are displayed. It is actually very well done. Among the stones on display is a bullan stone with three cups - which was a nice surprise. Well worth a visit if you happen to be in the area.
