The upper defences are struggling to cope with the calling of nature in places... nevertheless I found the sheer volume of stone in situ staggering for a virgin TMA site. Here the skeletal remains of a tree succumb to the ancient rampart. The tough upland grass and heather, frankly, do not. Garn Boduan possesses a large Bronze Age cairn at its summit. The intervisibility with neighbouring cairns - such as Mynydd Carnguwch seen beyond - is clear. Not to mention the locals upon [Tre'r Ceiri]].
