Pen Pumlumon-Fawr (Cairn(s)) by GLADMAN Those with exceptional eyesight may just discern a glint of quartzite from the Cerrig Cyfamod Glyndwr approx centre left of image, to the left of the bend in the course of the Afon Hyddgen. It would therefore seem the legend is true and the stones can been seen from the summit of Pen Pumlumon-Fawr.... The erstwhile legendary Cadair Idris dominates the far skyline.
