Dinas Emrys

Dinas Emrys (Hillfort) by GLADMAN Further appreciation of Dinas Emrys' strategic prowess - standing overlooking Llyn Dinas and controlling access to/from Nant Gwynant - can be had looking from Moel Hebog. The shapely (from this direction, at least) Bronze Age summit of Moel Siabod commands the skyline, with Y Liwedd rising top left, cohort of Y Wyddfa, Herself. Incidentally the wonderfully rocky top of Moel Meirch can be seen centre right skyline, Bwlch y Rhediad's denuded cairn proffering a fine approach for those in search of a little more 'me' time.
