White moor is at the top of mine but with kids in tow it's a bit too far, this was perfect though, no people, wondrous surroundings and a lovely little circle. Easy to get to..........with a car. postman Posted by postman

Good to see Dartmoor still looking so good. Whitmoor circle is a must. It's a bit of a trek, but if you go from Shilstone Tor - you can take in Cosdon Stone Rows and the large cairns at the top en route - and back via The Whitmoor Stone and Kennon Hill - only about a 6 mile round trek - possibly a bit much if you have the kids in tow though Meic Posted by Meic
