Not what I expected above the Rhondda and looks minimal from distance. Just goes to show preconceptions are often wrong. Ran out of time after going to Crug yr Afan in the morning. GLADMAN Posted by GLADMAN

You got to see more of it than on either of my visits too, the banks were much more overgrown in summer. There's so much great prehistory above the Rhondda. Some time I'll get round to some fieldnotes (maybe). thesweetcheat Posted by thesweetcheat

Well, I missed the cairn within it since this was an improvised visit. Yet another example of Iron Age peoples leaving the old gods well alone. Top finds from that, so it appears. GLADMAN Posted by GLADMAN
