This one is most definitely on the list already, your pictures make it even more so. thesweetcheat Posted by thesweetcheat

Strangely it didn't make that overwhelming an impression back in 1998, particularly the long cairn. Older and wiser, it did this time. The ideal companion to Carreg Cennen... GLADMAN Posted by GLADMAN

I guess you've seen a lot more unimpressive sites in between, and the long cairn is a real rarity in that area. thesweetcheat Posted by thesweetcheat

A real rarity... I'm struggling to think of an upland long cairn off the top of my head. Arguably it might be something to do with the small ridge it occupies... filling in the gaps between the contours. GLADMAN Posted by GLADMAN

Certainly suits the place. I can't think of another one round there at all. There's a possible/probable one next to the Morfa Bychan chambers, but definitely not upland. thesweetcheat Posted by thesweetcheat
