The main summits of Y Mynydd Du - The Black Mountain - live up to their collective name as the cloud I said would never lift... subsequently lifted. Fan Foel (top left) is crowned by a fine (recently excavated) cairn bearing cist with capstone. Picws Du, to its right, possesses a rather more trashed example.
