which are in the same upland strath but even higher .
In many respects the terraces above the Tay valley even at 300-400 metres are nore hospitable than in the valley which not only gets less sun because of the surrounding hills ,it's trap for fog and mists . The forecast for Aberfeldy ,(just below in the pic ) was mist and no sun but I guessed on it being clearer higher up ,as usual, it was .
