The irony is this was - if I recall correctly - one of the first little climbs I did way back in 1990. Just to see what was up here following a visit to Harlech, Conwy, or some other castle. Had no idea about prehistoric stuff then, obviously. GLADMAN Posted by GLADMAN

Works both ways.... I (literally) stumbled upon a major cairn field in the Rhinogydd last week - not on the map - which I later found Coflein only had logged as a probable resulting from an oblique aerial photo. Us amateurs can indeed return the favour. GLADMAN Posted by GLADMAN
