Grange Irish bullaun (Bullaun Stone) by ryaner The basin of this large stone is about 35cms in diameter. The water was putrid, a cure for many skin complaints I've no doubt.

It's nice to see another in your series of Things Floating in Bullauns. And bullauns generally of course.

And less of the ewww, that's probably an entire ecosystem with species new to science.

Not enjoying the spitty looking foam though I have to say.

The foam was stirred up by my companion who immersed both his hands in the water as we arrived. I asked him why he was doing that, had he warts or something? No, he said, just because he wanted to.
