Penycerrig

Cairn(s)

Penycerrig (Cairn(s)) by GLADMAN Looking approx north-east across an apparent ... and rather impressive... clearance cairn (SN879867) toward the site of the Penycerrig cairn. Suffice to say I must have walked right by - if not over it like a rank amateur - as I carried on to check out the 'barrow-like' feature upon centre right skyline. And back again. Nothing doing there. However.... CPAT reckon the smaller clearance cairn lower down the ridge from this viewpoint (Graig Gethin at SN878866) is probably of Bronze Age origin. Confused?
