Interesting juxtaposition! The Goldstone in Hove Park is similar in that it faces Burger King and a DFS showroom. Could be a good forum topic!

It would be hugely hypocritical of me to complain, i'm not above creeping in for sausage and egg muffin and the coffee from BP garages is very good.

Perhaps some trees along the fence line would help the more 'right on' of TMA to relax at this one.

Just remember, it was those pesky Neolithic people that started us down this consumer highway.

I like the contrast in this but in another way its all just the same. The human desire to travel about the place was always going to end up this way. What does the future hold for the future explorer?

I don't like the chips, far too salty.

I am inclined to agree, sausage and egg mcmuffins are quite nice, but not as soon as you get up, but you can ask for no salt on your fries.

Some trees is a fine idea, but it might lend some cover to the ne'er do wells intent upon certain nefarious activities.

Yep it all started with " hey I want a shiny axe like that", but hopefully it'll end with most of the population moving off world, leaving those of us with feelings to repair and care for our world. Or hover cars.

But with the rest of us left sat around reading books, listening to music, strolling around prehistoric monuments, participating in engaging conversation and filling our glasses, who is going to get all the work done?

Who is going to take my sausage and egg muffin order?

You haven't thought it through, its a nightmare scenario, i'm out.
