To be honest I rather liked the unkempt nature in contrast to Nympsfield. The dog walkers appear to avoid it like the pague... good thing. In this case I reckon the tree roots are actualy acting as a protective cage for it!

I want to go back to Hetty's again - think it's been about 10 years (before it was closed for restoration) but would need a couple of hours for that.

Never been to Soldier's Grave before - hence the visit - and as you know you have to walk right by Nympsfield which was much better than I recalled.
