Y Gyrn

Cairn(s)

Y Gyrn (Cairn(s)) by GLADMAN Now we know there are some pretty decent monuments upon Y Gyrn perhaps some landscape perspective might be useful - albeit not the best of images due to extremely hostile conditions upon Moel Ysgyfarnogod... and assuming my 'radar' is correct. I believe so but, as always, please let me know if not. The site overlooks the wonderful Dwyryd Estuary with the fantasy village of Portmeirion (I am not a number, I am a free man!) visible to the left of the the prominent island, Ynys Gifftan. Hopefully the equally wondrous Bryn Cader Faner is (more or less) correctly indicated....

Well, when I had a choice between (even) BCF and a mountain, the mountain won. GLADMAN Posted by GLADMAN
