Coed y Gaer

Hillfort

Coed y Gaer (Hillfort) by thesweetcheat Looking west along the northern rampart. The hill on the right skyline is Fynnon Las, home to a sizeable Bronze Age cemetery.

Yep, taken me a long enough to get to this one. I'm not convinced it's a "fort" though, though I don't doubt it's prehistoric. The interior space is seriously sloping, in a way that would much reduce its defensible qualities. thesweetcheat Posted by thesweetcheat
