Aye Paul, I always think of them as small. Never been though. What kind of height are they? Nice shot Meic. Evergreen Dazed Posted by Evergreen Dazed

The portals are both 6 ft 7 ins high and the average height of the others is 5 ft 9 ins tall, i couldn't believe it when i was there, i'd clearly never seen a photo of anybody by them and was shocked by there heights. I did notice when i was there that if you stand in a certain place on the little rocky ridge overlooking the circle the landscape behind becomes very very symmetrical. It's a great place, and it bloody stuck in my head [along with Reanascreena, Lissyviggeen and Kenmare down that way for me], It's a really great area. I bet Meic needed somewhere like that after having Dartmoor on his doorstep beforehand. bladup Posted by bladup

Blimey! Had no idea they were that tall.
I've been to Kenmare and Uragh but it was a holiday with a few friends so couldn't spend all my time stone spotting (sadly).

There's a place down there called 'Meanus'. We had to stop and get photos taken by the sign...

"Have you seen Tom lately?"
"Yeah, he's up in Meanus"
