Coed Aber round house (Ancient Village / Settlement / Misc. Earthwork) by postman If the inhabitants of Coed Aber round house and the surrounding settlement had a more than practical interest in water, they couldn't have picked a better place to live, I feel like worshiping a water deity myself when i'm here.

I've great memories of the times i've been to Aber falls, you can't keep my lads out the water, and once it was fucking freezing [it's good for you], but only one of the lads out the trees [the others like me- scared of heights], i bet it's great to see it frozen, it would be more like malham cove without the water noise of the falls. bladup Posted by bladup

You being you you're probably already well aware.... but up beside Rhaeadr Bach is a good route to take if a visit to Drosgl appeals. Not that it does. GLADMAN Posted by GLADMAN

Drosgl is still (high) on the list - I had meant to go in the Spring, but somehow never got round to it. Perhaps next year. thesweetcheat Posted by thesweetcheat

I think it would be a good rehabilitation exercise, not too high or difficult. thesweetcheat Posted by thesweetcheat

Yep, a very good start. which way would we go, via the waterfall or past Moel Faban, just wondering, either ways good. postman Posted by postman

Either way is indeed good. Moel Faban cairn is on the list too, obviously. thesweetcheat Posted by thesweetcheat
