Yep, certainly was. We've still barely scratched the surface of all the stuff round there, Drew keeps finding us more to see. thesweetcheat Posted by thesweetcheat

All you lucky buggers living in stony areas. Have you ever been to Buckinghamshire? We get excited by cross ridge dykes here. (If you'll pardon the expression).
And by 'we' I obviously mean 'I'.

Aint much in Cheshire either, haven't even heard of a cross ridge dyke, I have to travel at least half hour to get anything decent. postman Posted by postman

No stone circles for miles round here. Quarried hill forts and knackered long barrows though. thesweetcheat Posted by thesweetcheat

Sounds like you need a move like we did, we exchanged from lincoln to west penwith, lucky buggers i know, the woman who lived here got a place at lincoln uni and i'm still smiling 15 months later [it's the best thing we ever did] and it only cost us half of a van hire to get here because the people we moved with used it and brought it back with them, sometimes you have to grab life by the curly wurlys and get what you can from it [or take whats offered], this place works a treat for me [i loved it anyway] because i don't drive or have much money and i can walk everywhere i want to go very easily, it's a 20 min walk to the sea as well, which is nice and is something i've always dreamt of been able to do. bladup Posted by bladup

I think about it all the time B...
I've got various ideas in mind. Although its not too bad here, plenty of odd little sites in the hills. But I could def do with just one little circle or even a friendly menhir closeby to visit!
