Wales Coast Path officially opens

Sorry to be a bit tardy with this, but this is momentous news, making Wales the first country in the world to open a path around its whole coastline.

Linked with Offa's Dyke Path, it makes a 1050-odd mile circuit around the whole country. Wow.

Think this is brilliant, I just love the coastline and there must be plenty of promontory forts long the way and short incursions inland to cromlechs.... moss Posted by moss

Isn't it though? The first country in the world to give open access to its whole coastline. I hope we will manage to walk the whole thing over time, but even if we don't there are so many fabulous places to get to all around the coastline. Except Port Talbot. :-) thesweetcheat Posted by thesweetcheat
