It was actually a toss of a coin between Marston Down and Wooston Castle... as crazy as that now seems. Although I'm sure the latter is great, the numerous sites upon Marston speak for themselves, I think. GLADMAN Posted by GLADMAN

The Giants Basin. A great site. How was the stone circle on the top of the hill looking. They had burnt a lot of the gorse back last time I was there as it had become a bit invasive. Meic Posted by Meic

just had a look-thanks. Yes it's looking good, really green! seems like you had some good old Dartmoor weather while you were up there as well !!
I used to go up here a lot when I lived in the area, lovely place. It used to be a really good place for Dartford Warblers as well... though I think that the last couple of cold winters might of driven them out !!
