Whatever the failings of this messed-up cairn, it remains impressively substantial. My friend provides helpful scale to demonstrate.

I must admit I liked it a lot, despite the trashed-ness. Even this close to the road it manages to feel remote and the size means it's still pretty awe-inspiring. For some reason the massive reconfiguration reminded me of Ballowall!	Posted by thesweetcheat 15th April 2012ce
