Carnedd Llewelyn

Carnedd Llewelyn (Cairn(s)) by GLADMAN Highlighting a few ancient sites whilst heading toward Foel Grach from Carnedd Llewelyn (the latter's summit cairn resides just out of shot to the right, crowning the unfeasibly dark ridge). The small mountain tarn of Ffynnon Llyffant lies near the base of the ridge, Cwm Eigiau beyond. (The cloud, normally of great concern to travellers walking these brutal uplands, was just a' passing through.... hey, much like myself).

Missed this image from the original Llewelyn posts end of last October... love the way there are great big rocks just sticking out the ground. Reckon even you Scots would probably rate this a 'proper' mountain. GLADMAN Posted by GLADMAN
