Wapley Hill

Wapley Hill (Hillfort) by thesweetcheat Looking eastwards along the inner ditch, at the southwest of the fort. The site is fairly clear of vegetation here, except for self-seeded trees and shrubs. The outer banks and ditches are much more overgrown, being hard against the woodland edge.

You will like. It's a lost gem, as good as any fort I have ever visited. thesweetcheat Posted by thesweetcheat
