I really like this picture. There's something about it that makes you want to walk along that lane, into a half-forgotten past where HV Morton in a bullnosed Morris will be driving towards you, to take you on a tour of a vanished England. thesweetcheat Posted by thesweetcheat

I love that imagery thesweetcheat, it would also be preferable to the speed in which people we're zooming past as I was taking that photo.

There was that "gateway" feeling to the place that morning though, maybe HV was passing if I could but have seen him!
