Sully Island (Promontory Fort) by GLADMAN Approaching eastwards along the disintegrating southern flank of Sully Island. Two cross-ramparts can be seen isolating the enclosure (there is apparently also a third), together with a possible (?) Bronze Age barrow surmounting the 'summit', far right.
