Drew, do you know anything about the cairn on Pittenerich, just south of Pressendye summit cairn. It's big. Nothing on Canmore about it. I just wondered how old it is.

is that for Cairn Mude, west of summit? I've been up for the trig from the east. I remember it being quite hard work and full of flies. not good. thelonious Posted by thelonious

Cairn Mude yup, plus there is a long cairn. Tried to get up fae the west and the ring cairns at Newton. Another day getting battered and bruised by onything that could bite, scratch and puncture. A forced retreat to pub the in Lumphanan was required. drewbhoy Posted by drewbhoy
