As ever it depends on money and time, my most wanted is Carnedd llewelyn and Pen yr Helgi du , but would settle for a solitary Pen Lithrig y Wrach.

But you never know

I felt very much out of my depth looking at your great photos Postman ... looks rugged stuff to say the least. All of your photos jump out but I've picked this one for obvious reasons. tjj Posted by tjj

Thanks june, I took 200 pictures that morning, it is always difficult to pick only a few.
It is high time my son, Eric, postie jnr, to accompany me up one of these places, he says he's up for it.

Postie - you could visit all three - plus Foel Grach with a relatively minor, albeit annoying diversion - in a circular walk around Cwm Eigiau from the car-park just below Llyn Eigiau.... that would include Tristan's cairn as well, of course. If you fancy it - you'd need a very good day cos Foel Grach especially would be lethal in cloud - I'd recommend going clockwise, heading up Pen Llithrig y Wrach early doors to get the hard graft out the way first. Needless to say a hard walk, but the descent from Llewelyn (once you clear some awkward rock) is a downhill stomp. You also get the most fantastic view of Yr Elen and might even bump into some wild ponies. The usual. Make sure you get to the car park early, though. GLADMAN Posted by GLADMAN
