| Thanks for the local expertise TE. Nearly there, but couldn't see the stone for the trees, so to speak. Was up on Side Pike a while back and wasn't aware this existed.... I am now, which is what TMA is all about. |

If you follow the obvious wall down to where it meets the trees on their right hand side, as we look at it, then follow the wall down into the woods, then you will see some boulders. It's on one of them. I hope you find it next time you're coming off Side Pike into Great Langdale. As you say, it is indeed what TMA is all about. I've learnt so much from this site, especailly useful when I visit other areas. As well as enjoying reading about other people's experiences of places. All the best, TE. |
