Merry Maidens SC - 23.12.2002 After visiting so many lone stones and obscure sites it was weird to visit this 'perfect' circle and see so many stones at regular intervals and organised heights. To be honest it felt fake because I just wasn't used to it! The field boundary is interesting and quite stunning, heavily made up of stones especially on one side. A small signpost points to the circle from the North side of the B3315, next to a lay-by for car parking, literally a stone's throw from the circle.
