Moelfre, Y Rhinogydd (Round Cairn) by GLADMAN Moelfre is the elegant, shapely hill rising beyond Llyn Erddyn and bears a truly massive cairn... as viewed from Llawlech, southern Rhinogydd. The excellent hillfort Craig y Dinas is just in frame extreme far left, with an extensive cairnfield located a little further west. There are additional further settlements / standing stones in the immediate vicinity making this corner of Dyffryn Ardudwy an Modern Antiquarian's paradise. The shapely mountain top right, incidentally, is Rhinog Fawr.
