Upper Short Ditch

Dyke

Miscellaneous

According to Michael Watson ("Shropshire: An Archaeological Guide" (2002) Shropshire Books), this dyke is Bronze Age. It spans the ancient drove road of the Kerry Ridgeway and is partly in England and partly in Wales, with an original lenght of approx 900m. A counterpart dyke ("Lower Short Ditch") lies a couple of miles to the east along the ridge. thesweetcheat Posted by thesweetcheat
