King Arthur in Wales - Aberystwyth and District Civic Society

This may be of interest to some (I know it's not strictly within the TMA remit, but King Arthur does - undeniably - turn up a fair bit in conjunction with TMA-relates sites)

"On 9 November, 2011 at 7.30pm Royal Commission staff member Scott Lloyd will be giving an illustrated lecture on King Arthur in Wales at the Aberystwyth and District Civic Society's monthly meeting at Ceredigion Museum, Aberystwyth. Please use the Bath Street side entrance. Everyone welcome."

Sounds really interesting!

Acht we'll let the Welsh cling to their dreams of a welsh Arthur.
We'll also let the Cornish cling to their Tintagel Arthur who scratched on tiles.
And let the Glastonbury Monks lay claim on Arthur's burial place... and that of Guanamara...
