Mynydd Tarw, Y Berwyn (Round Cairn) by GLADMAN Like most, this cairn is hollow inside.... although I suspect men with shotguns may be just as responsible as the nerdy rambler in this case.... this is grouse country, methinks. The ridge snakes away across Foel Wen and Tomle to Bwlch Maen Gwynedd and the main Berwyn summits.... the latter all crowned by their own monuments, the former by enigmatic 'mounds' which surely must be 'possibles'?
