There's a video here Goff that might tell you if it's on that site if you know it well.

You shouldn't really worry about him doing it on the site of the stone circle if it's a non-scheduled site. All legal artefact hunting aims to maximise the finds rate by researching exactly where the non-scheduled archaeological sites are. They'll have done most of them by now, hundreds of thousands of them.
