You were up at Uffington - wonderful clear atmosphere up there. Definitely one of my favourite places, always clears the cobwebs away.

The amazing thing about the Uffington White Horse is that it can only be seen clearly either from the air or from some distance away.

Yes, a friend from work who I go walking with offered the trip in the week. Seeing GingerTT's posts recently about Wayland's Smithy it was a bit of a weird coincidence. Great place, really windswept yesterday up on the hilltop. We walked a circuit, down to Woolstone village then back up to the Ridgeway.
