The Whispering Knights (Portal Tomb) — Fieldnotes

Strangely enough this was my favourite part of the Rollright complex. I don't know why but I find tombs particularly interesting. Part collapsed but still very intriguing. Only a short flat walk from the stone circle and very much worth a look. Posted by CARL

The King Stone (Standing Stone / Menhir) — Fieldnotes

Pity about the metal railings but still worth a look. When I visited there were several people there with leyline rods (if that's what you call them?). A chap said that there are many lines which converge at the stone circle from all directions. Posted by CARL
