Loved this set of photos, almost like they were taken as part of a fantasy landscape for Game of Thrones or Lord of the Rings (no disrespect intended). I don't really know this part of the world, however, your photos from your trip to mid Wales have made me want to get out there and visit
Tis England (Shropshire) although Corndon Hill is just across the border in Montgomeryshire. Great place Costa, well worth a van ride.
How embarrassing, better get my map book out, on this form probably wont be able to find it. Van heading for Aikey Brae next week, probably end up in Dublin.
