Not prehistoric as such, mostly dark age material, but interesting nontheless. Michael Wood series from 79/80/81 about the truth behind various historical characters, not the myth. 8 episodes with an much younger Michael Wood than we're used ton (almost has Teardrops era Cope-ish hair in some scenes). Usual suspects, Arthur, Boudica, Athaelstan, Eric Blood Axe, Alfred etc....I enjoyed it a lot, and even Bowie gets an airing on the soundtrack in one episode. Surprisingly modern in approach for the time, well except the flares and the dodgy fashion choice. Good Stuff.
