I would just say to all the people who participated in this discussion and who cannot envisage less traffic filled roads - please stop going on about hiding the A303 from sight - a tunnel would have a massive impact on the Stonehenge environment and hey! if cars and lorries are so essential to our existence then they should be revered as they hurtle past Stonehenge, not hidden away. And could the same people stop moaning about wind turbines that can be seen from an ancient sites and solar panel parks that may catch our eye glinting in the sun as we drive past. The Piper must be paid.
