I think it's a comfortable delusion that salvation lies in that direction. Most of us are individually selfish which means collective moral/spiritual improvement is highly unlikely. In addition, if that moral change includes denying 90% of the world the right to experience the level of consumption that we've been enjoying it's morally dubious. I fear we won't change until lack of resources and climate chaos forces us to, which will involve no moral evolution or wising up at all.

On the other hand, I agree, Glastonbury ain't a chakra (I think!). BUT belief that it is will expand as the climate gets hotter and living standards get lower - which is another massive similarity it has with fundamentalist religion. Maybe the thraping that people have had on here for being non-believers is the equivalent of an early Spanish Inquisition?
