Chun's pretty much a box though George and is a portal tomb [one of the portals still stand, it's small but it's there and the others there but over], it's also one of the most intact anywhere so has that on it's side, it's strange at Trethevy that all the stones but one stand on the ground [not in it], why do you think that is?

And there are others as well as Chun but it is not the usual . Noteworthy that Chun doesn't have the sloping capstone but some of the stones do have sloping edges and you could rearrange them to make a sloping box from the flat pack if necessary .

Colin Richards and Vicky Cummings have suggested that supporting sidestones are just held in place by the force of the weight of the capstone and just need a bit of cairn support prior to capstone erection an am yalso len against backstones and portal stones .This seems to be borne out from excavations at Clonlum and Melkagh
