The Roseland Peninsular, just across the water (by ferry or car) is quite gorgeous as well. worth a trip to St Just in Roseland churchyard. There's a few holy wells in the area. the aforementioned churchyard has one (as well as a non-holy one!). Also the creek at St Ruan Lanihorne is relaxing, and great if you're interested in birding.
I guess the unique and enigmatic Tolven Stone isn't far from Falmouth either! :)
