No, by HMG - official like. Though a '925' punch, on eBay, is only 8.65 + p & p. That's what's usually called a hallmark nowadays. There's still a lot of superstition tied up in silver charms, it seems. I've just finished glueing the Lord's Prayer back into a tiny silver charm bible - with PVA - and the strange thing is that when it went into the ultrasonic cleaner it had five tiny rubies and when it came out, only four. There's absolutely no sign of the missing one and the remainder are perfect (and very clean). I've run out of vinegar though!
