| Hey we went to Avebury last week for the 1st time and it was wikid!! After a rather, er, damp few days spent camping in Devon, we donned our hoods (waterproof rather than druidic - it was pissing down) and gawked at Stonehenge before travelling up to Avebury & surrounding area. I was well impressed. I don't mean to be rude but it's a kinda shame that there's a ruddy great village in the middle of it - it would have been even more impressive to see it on it ownsome. Was awesome nonetheless. I even bought some buttery fudge in ye olde National Trust shop. (Eeek ! Someone stop me before I grow a barbour jacket and start knitting yoghurt.)
