Actually they are Cornish Weatherstones. When they are wet it's raining...when dry it's sunny...when white it's snowing and when daylight but out of sight it's foggy. Arthur my neighbouring farmer relies on them but has his on the lawn so that he doesn't even have to get out of bed to see what the weathers like :D
