I visit Trevethy a lot living local to it and every time I see it I think it is wrong. Looking at the shape and positions of many of the outer stones it looks like it has totally fallen down at some stage and been put back incorrectly. This is the frustrating thing about research isn't it. I'd love to be able to find out how deep the flanking stones are buried into the ground and their true dimensions so that I could draw them all and lay them out like jigsaw pieces. I'm sure some are in the wrong position.
